My Teacher Will Not Allow Me To Swear Online

At the beginning of this year, in our Catholic Morality class my Teacher opened our option of spreading our thoughts and ideas by introducing us to the website Twitter and Blogger. Twitter because so popular in our school within days. Following friends, family and teachers and even some strangers just a scroll down the page can update you on everything going on in everyone's life.

When students started to become more comfortable with this website, that was when profanity started to become a problem. I personally have never swore on my twitter account because I know my rights from wrongs and I know that is not appropriate for this specific website. With that being said I can say that I do see a lot of swearing from my friends. Now our teachers are just telling us it is not allowed on our twitter... Agree or disagree?

I personally can understand where the teachers are coming from. It is not appropriate especially in a Catholic School. But, with that being said I did make my account before school started and I made it so that I could express how I was feeling when I was feeling it. Not knowing I was going to be told I could not do that. I agree with Freedom of Speech and this does not seem to follow that. I think that it should be up to the students if they wish to create a new twitter, get rid of the profanity or just to ignore it all together.
